Read our brief overview of international forex broker, Plus500 before you trade.

Founded in 2008, Plus500 is an internationally recognised FX and CFD broker, operating in more than 50 countries. It offers commission-free trading and competitive spreads on a range of CFD markets, including more than 2,800 tradable instruments. The multi-regulated broker provides 24/7 customer support in multiple languages, along with a good selection of advanced analytical tools via its +Insights section.

However, the broker has a tainted regulatory history, particularly in the UK. In 2012, it received a fine of £205,128 by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for failing to report transactions accurately between June 2010 and November 2011. Meanwhile in May 2015, shares in Plus500 fell by more than 30% after the company froze around 55% of its UK accounts due to the implementation of tougher new anti-money laundering checks.
